I wanna go to a place, where the flowers sing & the dandelions are free,
where the sun is always warm & mother nature rules me.
I wanna go to the land, to the land of milk & honey, where the powers in the air
& only God knows where; somewhere sunny, because you see the people try & rule,
but lately, they've been getting caught up in the cruel.
I don't wanna live in shadows or walk with death,
I wanna lay & feel my breath. Feel the world spinning & spinning me around,
No I don't want the crown or the jewels or the gown.
No not the amber or the gold, that is not what I long to behold.
What I wish & what I see when my eyes are closed is something naked, bare & utterly exposed.
No higher degree then sittin' by a lone cyprus tree, there is where I can feel the cold pacific wind,
& ask for forgiveness for I have sinned. See I too got caught up in the greed & disaster,
but I beg my pardon from you my master, because I am made from blood & skin.
Oh, haven't you heard? That's no longer the spin, because being human is a world wonder.
Oh can't you hear the thunder? The warning signs are noticeably comin' & boy when it comes,
it'll come drummin', drummin' into the stream of blood in your veins, breaking down the chains,
bringing out the reins, screamin' your names. A calling, so loud it'll make you run towards the setting sun.
There you'll find me sitting beside you, looking at you, saying the time has come.
I'll dissolve in front of you & you'll come undone. That's when it'll happen,
the uncanny natural déjà vu feeling, the inner peace, & the soul's healing.
